Video billboards require a different approach. There's no audio, so the entire story has to unfold as a purely visual
sequence. The look must be catchy enough to stand out. And, because the viewers pass by quickly, the storyline must
resolve in just a few cuts.
This animated billboard campaign was developed with the production company Hornet, Inc., and was built on DDBO's "a
clean mouth no matter what" campaign. Each billboard cycle tells a different, humorous story in a flat, simplified
style that stood out from the visual clutter of Times Square.
