An elevated Italian chophouse
Located at Pier 17 in New York’s South Street Seaport, Carne Mare is celebrated chef Andrew Carmellini’s modern take on the classic Italian chophouse, serving top-notch steaks, seafood, and Italian specialties in a dramatic two-story space by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
We developed Carne Mare’s full brand identity and materials package, from logo and typography to menus, collateral, and signage. The design draws on classic chophouse cues with bold, fanciful lettering, a metallic & jewel tone palette, refined detailing, and unexpected touches that add vibrancy and theater to the brand.
Carne Mare is a masterclass in decadence—prime cuts, flawless seafood, and the kind of drama only Andrew Carmellini can deliver.
