A landmark food hall and entertainment venue
Shaver Hall is an expansive, multifaceted dining and entertainment destination located in the historic Lord & Taylor Building on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The challenge was to create a brand that honored the building’s legacy and iconic status while signaling a fresh, vibrant experience to modern audiences.
Our solution began with the development of the name, a tribute to Dorothy Shaver – the pioneering president of Lord & Taylor and the first woman in America to lead a multimillion-dollar business. Building on her legacy of innovation, we developed an identity that united traditional elegance with modern design sensibility, resulting in a brand that pays homage to the space’s historic significance while capturing the energy and vibrancy of its new role.
